How To Get New Customers For Free

I've your on a tight marketing budget, you can get new customers for free. Just go back to your customer database and begin to ask your current customers to refer their friends and family to you. Don't be afraid to do this, especially if you have satisfied customers. You can even offer an incentive such as 10% discount on your services and products for the referral. Or you can offer a discount to the person doing the referring.

There Are Many Ways To Get New Customers

You need to be creative about your marketing.
If you don't want to offer discounts, you can offer free reports or some kind of item that doesn't cost you anything but that is valuable to your customers and prospects. Another way to get free customers is to do a joint venture partnership. If you're on the Internet, team up with other sites that have similar subject themes such as yours. By teaming up with so called "competitor" you can actually share your pool of customers. You don't have to stop there. In fact, think about the products and services that go along with your product or service.

For example, if you're a janitorial business, and you clean for commercial buildings, you could team up with a pest control service and a lawn care service. By being able to offer a total package to your clients, you can now boost your perceived value and raise your fees, as well as share the customers of your joint venture partners. (The lawn care clients may need cleaning done. Same with the pest control service)

These simple strategies don't cost you any money, but they do require some thought and time. You don't always have to spend tons of money to acquire new customers.

3 Proven Formulas For Writing Headlines In Your Sales Letters

There are many different formulas people are using to create headlines. Some people simply swipe headlines from other sales letters that they know has proven to be a winner. While that may work to a limited degree, you still need to actually think about what your product or service is, what kind of customers you have, and how to put the whole thing together.

Swiping other people's headlines won't always cut it. Here are 3 proven formulas that you can use in conjunction with your swipe files to make sure you're getting the maximum punch out of what you are writing.

1. News headlines - news always turns heads. People want to know news! Words like "Introducing" Or "New and Improved" always stop eyes and grab attention. If you've got something new to talk about, don't be afraid to put it into the headline.

2. Deal with the Price - if your price is a selling point, then don't be afraid to put it right into the headline. Maybe you're able to offer something at 50% less than the other competitors. That's a significant savings! Test your headline and see if knowing the price right up front will yield a higher response and conversion.

3. Testimonial Style Headlines - these can skyrocket some businesses right to the top. Why? Because anything you claim about your product or service is just that. A claim. When someone else says it about you, then in your prospect's mind it becomes a fact. If you've got a killer testimonial, especially from a recognized expert in your market's field, don't be afraid to put it out there.

There are many other ways to write winning sales letters, and in the future I'll be talking more about them. For now, these three should give you something to think about, especially if you are just starting out. Even experts and veterans of the copywriting and marketing game, still go back and refresh themselves with the basics. So don't be afraid to start writing and make mistakes. The more mistakes you make, the closer you get to finally having a winner. And nothing sounds as good as the ca'ching of the cash register!
